Can’t dive into close. Otherwise today is meaningless. Need a strong close at or near highs.

You guys are outta your minds if you believe all this negativity. This is coming from either SHORTS or people who are not investors trying to make a quick dime, not investors who are future millionaires $$$because of this company and stock.

I remember the same kinda price action most splits...sorry I sold one time...bought at split and aapl started going down ... 20%...I couldn't sell fast enough...that was about 3 or 4 splits back, I forget. What's that tell you about this stock that's had 5 splits? Duh!!!

A motor boat moves and turns on a dime. A carrier takes time and aapl is a carrier everytime. It's a bold hold. Now let's get it straight:

    New aapl watches
    New mac's
    New chip
    New phones
    New upgrades
    New bundles
Oh yes, on the way is going 2b the aapl ev.
    (I forgot something...oh well, enough)

STOP CRYING AND ENJOY THE RIDE.

I have Apple and a lot of shares but right now it is really doing badly. This is going to be read by days end. And if not it won’t be up by much at all. Apple is in a very poor state right now. Hopefully it breaks out for the holidays. Sold a lot of other stocks that are taking off now to buy Apple when Apple was around 130. Now I am sorry i’m sorry I did. those stocks are up about 30% now. Hopefully Apple will have a turn so I can catch up. Very disappointing.

Apple was down a bit today and I wondered why. I fished around and happened to see a Gartner report about smartphone sales, in general, being down around 6%. Maybe that's what turned off investors since Apple is still considered The iPhone Company. Any news about falling smartphone sales will certainly impact Apple's share price by association even if there are no iPhone specific sales numbers. I'm not concerned with Apple's daily share price moves of a few dollars either way but I always am interested in possible reasons. As a long-term Apple investor, small spikes up or down simply don't mean much. Up a bit is nice but down a bit can always be a buying opportunity for all investors. A $3 drop isn't a great buying opportunity unless you're buying plenty of shares like a fund might buy. Anyway, today's Apple drop isn't anything to lose sleep over in my opinion. Let's see what tomorrow brings. I'm guessing more sideways trading until a major catalyst takes place.
I hear talk about an Apple Christmas Surprise but no one has any solid details of what new products Apple could announce. However, I don't see any catalyst due to some minor product being announced.😎👌

Institutions gradually accumulating long positions. It's so obvious. Same for amazon. Retail money is chasing bubbles while smart money buying stakes in big tech. I think most people haven't read the recent earnings reports. Size matters. And revenue matters even more than profit.

What are you expecting? From some of these posts that the sky is falling, AAPL was trading at $75 (split adjusted) on Jan 3. It’s up over 50% for the year.

Apple will rise to new heights. Mark my words. Also include Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, intel, google, PayPal, visa, MasterCard, oracle, Qualcomm, Netflix, wmt, Costco, Target etc as your core holdings but then buy mutual funds such as from Fidelity etc etc and you can then relax and do other things and enjoy your life. Among Fidelity Select semiconductor, Blue Chip Growth, OTC, Select Software and IT Services and consumer discretionary etc etc etc are great buys. Reinvest your capital and interest distributions and then invest more every month through your 401k, 403b , IRA, Tution plans etc and watch it grow and relax. These people are great researchers and experts.

Can you all imagine if this and MSFT all of a sudden started to trade at a PE of 100? LIke Tesla is at over 1000. Pretty much possible with Apple too I guess. With all that cash sitting in their bank account, maybe they will soon announce:

    1) iResort (if they buy an island)
    2) iPort (an airport)
    3) iPlex (for cinema)
    4) iRocket (to assist nasa)
    5) iCar (a smart car)

If we keep having 200,000 Covid cases every day and 2000 die, it is no surprise that eventually even equities will suffer. Each company is different. A few will benefit. Many will not. We will see what happens. I am holding Aapl and maybe adding on a further decline.

Yup. It’s down because it makes good money. If we made losses - we’d be higher today :/

Teenager here just wanted some quick advice right now. Is apple a buy right now? Thinking about buying two stocks because the rest is in index funds and amd.

only a few dow components have really been performing well in the few years. It's an indictment of how poorly people view other stocks. Lots of people follow Buffett picks because they doubt their own ability
to evaluate a stock as a buy or not anyway. Probably plenty of cheap, promising stocks out there, but if you don't follow insider buying and do due diligence, you won't find them.

It’s fixed :/ it’s the institutions setting this price because they want to buy all your shares for cheap :/ just think about it? Apple and Microsoft have been making money even before covid. And now, everyone thinks that since covid is gone, other industries will make money? Well their SP might get a boost but sooner or later everyone’s going to come back to Apple and MSFT after all these airlines and other industries report another loss :/

I’m still buying online from amazon. I’m still using an iPhone. I’m sure there’s millions more like me :/

Glad to see Green but we need a breakout soon. Apple is due for another run with X-mas coming. It is time everyone starts upgrading again for new phones. My kids want bigger and better phones.
